YOU are God's favorite!

  We have just had a delightful time visiting our grandchildren & son & daughter-in-love. We have "adopted" these wonderful children as our grandchildren. While reflecting back, I knew I couldn't pick a favorite - they are all my favorites! It is the same with God's love for us when we have accepted God's gift of adoption that He has offered to us- we are all His favorites:) Doesn't that make you feel good??

  Ok, if you don't believe me, here it is...

 1Peter 2:9, "But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light ;  (NAS)


and:


 Ephesians 1:4-8  4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He lavished on us.


These are only a few of our favorites!  If you haven't yet accepted Christ into your heart, take note:
Hebrews 2:1-4 1 For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty, 3 how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation ? After it was at the first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard, 4 God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.


If this speaks to you (and we pray it will), don't delay! Life is hard enough as it is, but you have a helper in Christ to be able to call to at any time as your advocate, to give you wisdom, to give you strength, to give you encouragement. He KNOWs your pain, He KNOWs your heart, He KNOWs your dreams and foibles all ready - and He loves you anyway!  Once you accept Christ into your heart, you will wonder what ever took you so long!
  2 Cor. 6:1-2   1 And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain - 2 for He says, "AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU." Behold, now is "THE ACCEPTABLE TIME," behold, now is "THE DAY OF SALVATION ".

Proverbs 29:1  "A man who remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed - without remedy".     Don't wait for your "last call". Come to the side you were chosen for!
