Hummingbirds

   We are at the in-between stage with the hummingbird populations who swarm through here. The feeder has been quiet the last week or so, but I spied a new hummer flying in today, so maybe the next batch is coming!  Did you know many fly from South America to Alaska? That is just astounding to me, how these wee birds can go that far, one wing beat at a time.

   I am reminded that we are doing the same thing. One person or church at a time is helping to sponsor us so we can fly from here to Hungary, where we will live for a long time.  One at a time..... maybe this is your time to help us?  Have you pledged?  You don't need our permission, but we need your help:)

   Our team leader said that if our support continues to come in like it has been, we can leave (move) by the end of August! Hooray!  It also means we have 30% more to raise... so, if you wonder why we are still here, maybe it's because we need your help.

  Franklin Graham (Billy Graham's son) was in Budapest last week holding a crusade..... over 3000 Hungarians gave their hearts to Jesus last weekend!!  These are a people who need to think, contemplate, and then make decisions.  There is lots of follow up of these new believers  - 6 from our own church plant we are going to be involved with.... and we dearly want to help...... but here we are.  We ask, "Lord, send ME" , we have been accepted, anticipated... and still we wait.   Will you help us be like hummingbirds for Jesus?
