We can say with fullness of JOY that there were a minimum of 3000 people who gave their hearts and lives to Jesus during the Franklin Graham crusade in Budapest recently!
A friend who was there and in the background workings said, "The aisles were packed with people going forward, making a decision to follow Christ! Only 3000 actually filled out the follow-up paperwork, so we aren't sure if the rest didn't understand they needed to fill out the forms, or if they didn't want to fill out the forms. It was thrilling that so many went forward, there was NO ROOM IN THE AISLES FOR MORE PEOPLE!" (Emphasis ours)
What a blessing! As far as filling out the paperwork, many Hungarians view that as, "Someone will find me and hunt me down someday." Which are old memories from the Soviet occupied days - still quite prevalent. Please pray for those who have this attitude and for the former people who were occupying the country, that they would come to trust in Jesus Christ as a true and living Savior - who they can literally trust with their lives.
